Hey! I always try to keep these short, I know we are all busy.

So! Biggest news is we were selected for Google Summer of Code again, and we have a huuuuge surge of new developers engaging with the software code.

I want to say to each of you that contribute: THANK YOU. The fact we can provide some funding to developers via your donations is really attractive, and we have doubled our core maintainer crew from Google Summer of Code 2021. Hopefully we can add more long-term contributors this year.

If you haven't donated in a long time and were thinking "oh maybe I will again", it will help a lot this month so we can fund all the work from the candidates.

In other news: we are working really really hard on getting a new public release out. We know it's been a while. We must complete a forced migration to a new storage type that Google requires, and it's a big job. We are still just *flying* along with regards to velocity though, no worries - your funds are going to good use that's for sure.
