Cybersecurity protections for the Blacksky team

Blacksky Algorithms builds tools for communities on the AT Protocol, particularly the community of Black users on Bluesky: ✨Blacksky.✨
 
Blacksky's feeds are already used by 220K+ users (up from 30K users last year) and viewed 50K+ times a day. This work, increased visibility, and success has led to Blacksky's founder and even volunteer moderators being targeted by extremist groups with hate speech, harassment, and doxxing attempts. Since the initial attack, we've gotten a lot of support and resources (including additional protections via Bluesky's T&S team), and made some opsec adjustments.

That said, Blacksky has grown nearly 10x in the last year as has the AT Protocol ecosystem overall. If that trend continues, it will be even bigger this time next year. As beautiful and exciting as that is, it likely guarantees future attacks on Blacksky (this wasn't the first and likely isn't the last).
