A Menu of Arias

Opera singer Caroline Kennedy will deliver a programme of personalised Operatic performances for patients in the Radiotherapy Department at Barts Hospital, removing Opera from its traditional context and bringing it to an audience who may not otherwise feel comfortable or able to access it.  This project aims to provide uplifting, positive distraction for patients, opening the world of Opera to new audiences and providing patients with a meaningful, unexpected, and inspiring cultural encounter. This programme has been devised with insight from clinical staff in the Radiotherapy Department at Barts Hospital and support from Vital Arts, the Arts and Health service for Barts Hospital.
