Digital Inclusion Community Support

The purpose of this koha is to tautoko those organisations and individuals who have been operating in the digital equity ecosystem, alongside DECA, over the last few years. Due to limited funding resources being used by the operations team over the past two years we have built up some surplus funding that can be channelled through to communities.

Our funding partners have approved the use of this funding to support communities and individuals operating in the digital equity ecosystem.

We know that individuals working in similar community navigator roles have been successful in other fields. This pilot will look to frame up and advocate for these roles to be supported and funded in the future.

Aim
The aim of koha is to allow current organisations and individuals to continue doing digital equity work in their communities.

Focus
Current organisations and individuals who are proactively working with or reaching out to community members, particularly those at risk of digital exclusion, to promote connectivity, access to devices and digital skills, whilst increasing and encouraging participation in the digital world.
