Newcastle to the Peak District - Free trip! THIS SUNDAY!
Published on April 21, 2022 by Elswick Mutual Aid

On April 24th,  Kinder in Colour is hoping to create one of the largest countryside gatherings of People of Colour in English history! We are reaching out to Black people and people of colour (BPOC) groups across the country and want as many People of Colour as possible to come on the day. There will be a coach running from Newcastle upon Tyne to Edale Village Recreational Park, Derbyshire.

This event is led by Black People and People of Colour (BPOC) and will be centring their needs and contributions. Non-BPOC allies are of course welcome to attend in solidarity too.

The walk will run from about 14:00 - 17:00, with some chill time/music/discussion from 17:00 - 19:00. It's an easy route, so children are welcome too!

Food/refreshments will be provided, and iftar boxes will be provided for those that are fasting to take away.

When: 24th April 2022

Departure: 9:15, Newcastle upon Tyne, Bus Stop @ Jon Dobson Street next to Newcastle Central Library

We will leave Edale at 19:00/19.30

Please fill in the form below to secure a space on the coach! Spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please contact us if you have any questions or problems filling this form in - [email protected]
