Last Friday, we released ESLint v7.0.0! This release was made possible by the generous donations of you, our sponsors.

This was the first release since adding our first dedicated maintainer, Kai Cataldo. Kai was able to guide the release through while still taking time to interact with the community and reply to issues. Having someone as the main driver of v7.0.0 made identifying and resolving issues easier, as we didn’t need to compete with someone’s full time job for attention

We hope to add a second dedicated maintainer within the next 12 months to help with our next batch of priorities including parallel linting, a simplified config system, and website redesign.
