Summary update 2023-09

Flashpoint Ultimate 12 is now available for download via the Updater application. This can download a fresh copy or upgrade one in place. Current plans remain to be bi-annual releases in the Summer and Winter.
You can find a link here for Windows: https://github.com/FlashpointProject/FlashpointUltimateUpdater/releases/latest Mac and Linux users will have to build from source currently. (Version is still Windows, but the updater is multi-platform).

We've moved to zstd compression which should (fingies crossed) support significantly faster decompression times, at the cost of the overall compression ratio being a little worse.
If you're on Windows, you'll also need a program capable of extracting this new format. You can find a link to one below: https://github.com/mcmilk/7-Zip-zstd/releases/latest

We've also migrated the server to a better machine, moved everything into kubernetes, and we're now using Cloudflare to cache data for us, which should increase the download speeds of, well, almost everything. Thank you for your contributions that make this possible.
