Wayfinding for Life and WERO kicks off

Our Wayfinding for Life programme kicked off May in Canterbury for Māori and a Pasifika. Supported by the Ministry of Education Pacific Innovation Fund, topped up by Flying Geese and EHF Fellow @Nick Gundry. We had 300 student places that were quickly filled (we closed off at 339 students) with a waitlist of another 300. And there were many schools in the region that we didn't even get the chance to reach out to. From our workshops, students identified present and future challenges and wrote 84 five-step prevention plans, and created their own compass of habits that make them feel better. We've still got videos to film and we are currently creating reports for the schools so we can update them on their students' concerns and progress.
As for our WERO - youth enterpreneur programme, this continues with weekly coaching. Students are working in groups to complete their Wayfinding Business Plans. Some groups are taking it a step further and testing their service or product in their communities.
