Dissolution Update & Reminder To Share Project Exit Plans
Published on April 10, 2024 by Mike Strode (OCF)

As noted in our dissolution FAQ, we were awaiting exit plans for all remaining collectives by April 1st. If you have already emailed us or submitted your Exit & Unhosting Review Form, you can ignore this communication. Please review the Leaving OCF page for all of the steps involved in transitioning your project out.

If you have not taken those steps, please review the list of pathways for collectives to consider and communicate your plans to us within the next week. Direct engagement and proposed plans for projects who have not communicated will begin Monday. We will use responsiveness to our communications to gauge inactivity and determine whether we need to freeze projects whose admins appear to be disengaged.

We are committed to working with each of you to identify the best possible option for your collective and will be in touch soon if we haven’t already heard from you.

If you have any questions, you can email [email protected] to reach our team.

Please give us to May 15th to have a plan, as I the president of The Black Birth Collective, is out of the country until the 23rd; and unavailable until the 29th. We have done some research to find a fiscal sponsor but haven't been able to meet to make a decision as a advisory board. Also we will try to submit expenses in the meantime to draw out most of our funds.

thanks in advance for all your efforts.

Not disengaged.  Swamped and overwhelmed!  It's spring and I'm a farmer.  It's on my list of things to do!
