I am new to your software. Would it be possible to have the number of sheets or dimensional lumber on the first sheet of parts ? The part quantity is great but if quantity of sheets or dimensional lumber would be very helpful. In my model the first page shows 107 quantity of parts, then cut diagram show 54 pieces need to make 107 parts. That number of 54 on first page as quantity of sheets or dimensional lumber would make ordering easier
Thank you

Hello Chuck,

OpenCutList split its calculations into several steps to better match the reality of the needs in the workshop. And parts list is the base of everything.
The number of sheets needed cannot be displayed in the list of parts because:
- it requires an additional calculation that can be quite long.
- it depends on the type of material and a specific configuration the user set for it.

If you need part count and sheet count on the same screen, the Estimate module is what you should explore 😉

Ok thanks
I thought since it is already calculated when I look at parts that it could be displayed on main page also
