Some thank you to our fabulous contributors

Dear contributors.
Today we want to share our progress, non-regarding the circumstance we are just maintaining the server, renewing the certs, update on new versions on npmjs, monitoring with pm2 and overall keep an eye awake that everything is running smoothly. We have seperated the Debian 10 machine running solidweb.org and solidweb.me from the server, which is running this project on Debian 11. We kickstarted this organization in late december 2023 and, having Q1 left behind us, we have the expenses for the dedicated machine and the two domain names (meisdata.io and teamid.live) on secure ground.
In the ecosystem we gather in different combinations several times weekly, and work is being carried out forming an official W3C Working Group. The process of finding a name for it is documented here https://csarven.ca/tmp/wg-name-poll.html. Michiel, Alain, Yvo and me are only collaborating remotely, but personally I am hoping that providing Solid services for the wider community makes sense and is useful for many of us, techies, users, adventurers or just curious netizens. I guess, as Q2 is floating, we consider building a serious business model, refund every cent but try to implement a professional Pod providing service with a B2C philosophy.
We are advancing slowly, but going careful, tentative steps.
Thank you, Danke, Merci, Dank je wel. {(@ewingson[Matthias Evering])}
