We’ve hit £40,000 raised and redistributed!
Published on January 19, 2023 by Rebecca

Dear neighbours,

Happy new year!

We're excited to announce that as of this month we have hit a huge milestone of raising and redistributing £40,000 since we opened the Newham Solidarity Fund in October 2020! We couldn't have done this without you and we look forward to building on that in the coming year.

To kick us off, we'll be hosting a community print event at the Rabbits Road printing press in the Spring. We have a limited number of spaces for neighbours to come along and learn how to make your own prints. There will be food and childcare support available, so please get in touch with us if you would like to join us! You can email us at [email protected] or comment on this update.

We also still have lots of our exciting new merchandise available if you or anyone you know would like some! You can take a look at the beautiful 'Solidarity not Charity' print that features on it and order via our social media accounts (@newhamsolidarityfund on Instagram and Facebook and @NewhamSFund on Twitter). The print was created by local artist Maryam Huq.

Warm wishes,
The Newham Solidarity Fund admin team

Congratulations on your milestone!  It's wonderful to see the work you are doing in the community.

I'd love to come along to your print event in the spring - I'm always interested in these sorts of activities.

Regards,
Andrea Campbell
