Summer has come and gone and the holidays are right around the corner. Here at the Living Pantry, we continue to show up every Monday to distribute diapers and wipes to approximately 100 Brooklyn families. Through it all, we've gotten to know some wonderful people, seen babies grow out of diapers, and new babies born. It has truly been an amazing, humbling experience.
Since the end of the P-FRED food program earlier this year, we have focused on distributing only diapers and wipes. The need for these items in the community is great, and with our limited funds, time, and volunteers, it just makes sense to put our energy toward one thing. That said, we are always ready to accept bulk donations for distribution. If you have 100+ of something to give away or know someone who does, let us know!
