Hi there RP Free Store supporters! We are so grateful for all of the ways that you continue to support us. As you may remember, we had to switch fiscal sponsors back in the spring, and couldn't accept donations during that time. We're still trying to build back our bank account from that pause, and between an increase in neighbors coming to the Free Store each week (usually 125+!) and inflation / rising prices, we've been spending more and more each month to make sure that we can stay stocked with cleaning supplies, personal care products, and baby items.

If you were a monthly donor in March 2024 and you haven't restarted your automatic donations yet, you can do so by clicking on the icon in the top right corner with your initials (mine is JM), then going to Settings > Contributions > Recurring and clicking on the RP Free Store to Open Details. From there, you can restart your donation, change your payment method, change the donation amount, and more.

For everyone else, if you're able to support us with a one-time or monthly donation, it will go a long way towards our monthly expenses ($350 for rent and $4000-5000 for distro items). You can make a one-time or monthly donation at https://opencollective.com/rpfreestore#category-CONTRIBUTE. 

One thing I love about Rogers Park is that our generosity and willingness to support our neighbors. I know that we collectively have so much to share and that there is enough to keep our mutual aid project going if we keep pooling our resources.
