The Tor Project creates technology to help people access the internet without censorship. When you sponsor a relay, your money pays for a unique virtual private server (VPS) used only for operating your relay. We purchase VPS infrastructure from Njalla for $15/mo, and the remaining $5 goes to Science & Design to cover the human costs of running the service.
