New Fiscal Sponsor for SF Bay Area Mutual Aid
Published on July 19, 2024 by Sarah Cadorette
Hello community,
We are excited to let you know that we have found a new fiscal sponsor! We will now be working with Hack Club Bank to receive and distribute donations. You can find our Hack Club page here.
Donors: If you are interested in making a monthly or one-time donation to SF Bay Area Mutual Aid, you can do so here: https://hcb.hackclub.com/donations/start/sf-bay-area-mutual-aid
As we had to spend down all of our funds through Open Collective, we are back to $0 in our account. Any amount that you can donate will rebuild our resources, and allow us to begin once again fulfilling requests for direct financial assistance from our neighbors.
Requestors: If you already made a request through Open Collective and it has not yet been fulfilled, do not worry! We are keeping a record of all of the requests that were made, and will maintain the same order of fulfillment as we were using before. (This means we will be prioritizing requestors who have never received financial assistance from SFMA, in the order in which they were received.) It would be helpful for us if you could make sure that your Open Collective request contains your contact information (either phone # or email address) so that we can reach you outside of this platform.
If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]
Thank you all for your continued participation in strengthening the Bay Area community,
SF Bay Area Mutual Aid
