- PLEASE DO A COVID-19 TEST BEFORE COMING. Tests will be provided at the event if you can't afford one. We ask everyone to stay at home if you are feeling unwell to prevent the spread of infection. Be mindful of people's need for space and ask for consent before hugging or shaking hands.
- You can get to Butetown Community Center by bus, train, or bike. It is along the City Circle 1 bus route and the nearest train stations are Cardiff Bay Station (8 min) and Cardiff Central (15 mins). There are car parks at Mermaid Quay and John Lewis, both a 15 minute walk away. There are roadworks on Bute Street and Loudoun Square, which may affect traffic.
- We have a wellbeing space just after the main entrance by the reception. Please refer to the map at the bottom for direct location / ask a committee member or volunteer!
- There will be masks, stim toys and earplugs provided should you require them. However, we do not have a designated quiet space.
- The venue is wheelchair accessible with bathrooms on the ground floor. The bathrooms will be gender neutral for our event.
- Vaping is not permitted inside the venue. Discrimination, abuse, and harassment will not be tolerated and anyone displaying this behaviour may be asked to leave to protect everyone.
- Ask people their name and pronouns and make an effort to pronounce each other's name correctly #SayMyAsianName
- If you have any additional accessibility needs please let us know! There will be committee and volunteers around should you have any questions or need help!
