Hi there, my fiancé and I have been trying to be able to save for a washing machine for over a year now. Unfortunately due to the cost of having to drive our car to launderette and also paying for the facilities this is costing us a significant amount more than if we were to own our own.
I personally have mental health issues which make it much harder for me to go outside and travel.
We recently had our benefits examined by DWP and we now have to pay about £1100 back to them. Due to this, we are just scrapping paying our rent.
Looking around the cheapest washing machine we can find that will deliver to us is £250 on Argos. Catalogue number for this item is (682/6611)
We understand if the full amount cannot be provided and would be happy if anything at all to be able to put towards getting one.
Kind regards
Jessica

If you are applying for the first time, please provide the first half of your postcode and a link to one of your social media accounts in the "additional invoice information" box. This is to verify your identity and prevent scammers from taking money from trans people.
Please also let us know how much you need (max. £60 per month) and what you need it for (eg. bills, food, debt etc etc) in the "additional invoice information" box.
We don't allow reoccurring grants set through open collective, we ask that you don't set your grant to reoccur automatically as it adds strain to our grant team and can create duplicate expenses.
