Launch of the Transformational Governance community!
Published on January 24, 2023 by Sarah McAdam
We have recently launched a Transformational Governance community slack space by sending an invitation to everyone on the project mailing list.
We have created a modest menu of slack channels to encourage people to share questions, information and resources. We expect the slack space to evolve over time in response to the interests and energy of the community and see the potential to support deeper thematic inquiries as topics emerge. We also hope to bring in additional resources which will enable us to (co) host events and support others to do the same. You can read more about our intentions and find out how to join the community here.
A significant proportion of our current grant from Lankelly Chase has been allocated to the PowerShift learning journey, a resourced peer learning programme which will run from February to October. The grant also funds the time of the stewarding group who are currently focused on designing and delivering PowerShift, on activating the Transformational Governance community, and on bringing more resources into the work. Any donations we receive via Open Collective will be used to support the activities of the Transformational Governance community. All members of the community are encouraged to help shape these activities by joining the #shaping-our-community slack channel.
