Here is an update on what we've been doing in these past couple of weeks!

Introducing the art centered kits of the Radical Essentials for the Youth initiative

We will be providing FREE art supplies to youth between the ages of 12-18 in the city of Chicago, read below / watch the video for more details.

Following the book centered kits, these will have a mix of different art supplies catered to students.  This first set includes the following:

1. mixed media sketchbook

2. A set of acrylic paints 

3. Oil pastels 

4. A 6x6 canvas 

5. Pack of paint brushes 

6. The reusable tote bag 

We’ll be switching out what’s included in the kits as time passes, but we’re excited to get this part of the initiative up and running!

Investing in young artists is imperative to healing justice, there’s a history of overall neglect when it comes to young artists in Chicago. From schools having poorly funded art programs- or none at all. To youth not having the access to join external art programs, or not having the means to purchase these materials on their own. We’re working to break that cycle by providing these FREE supplies. With the art centered kits, and the book centered ones we’re working to make sure the young people of Chicago know they’re supported!
