Help us organize talks
Our goal is to organize at least one Heading for Extinction talk a month for non-Czech speakers living in the Czech Republic.
We, expats, find ourselves often excluded from direct actions & events organized by XR local groups and Czech speaking community in general. We are trying to shift the narrative and create a space that includes everyone to speak up their mind and to be heard. Our focus is on minorities that are mostly ignored by local people who are usually even not aware of it happening on their watch.
We actively reach out to majority and minority communities who are part of a system that has been built on systematic oppression which allowed the wealth of the richest and unimaginable poverty of many. We are participating and connecting with all circles of people on local and global level and facilitate the shift of the awareness about social justice.
It is not only about locals blocking bridges and other non-violent direct actions... For a lot of people, it is about always present racism that doesn't allow them to act. This talk is the the introduction to climate, ecological and, most importantly, social crisis. Our expat group aims to activate people who have not yet been heard through the talks and other workshops that will be following.

Crowdfunding policy
Anybody can get involved directly or indirectly and support our fight against unjust laws and norms. 60% of money raised will be used on promoting the talks (Eg. printing posters and leaflets). If speakers cannot afford to pay for their transport costs then 40% of the raised money can be used for it. We prioritise places for our events that are free of charge.
