About

The project is a localized campaign aimed at reducing fraud and cyber crime amongst young people,
with a focus on child criminal exploitation. Using a public health approach we are looking to mobilize
parents, young people, community organizations, statutory sector and business to combat the issue. We
know the impact of Fraud and Cyber crime in the community is massive, affecting young people's future
prospects of employment and it being a gateway to organized crime, a pipeline to prison and criminality.
We also aim to raise awareness with parents so they can spot the signs and understand some of the
coded language that is used in this criminal world. Sector awareness is also imperative so we aim to
upskill professionals who work with children and families with more information on this contextual harm.
This project campaign is focused on preventative health utilizing an early intervention model approach to
tackle the issue, helping to keep more young people safe and more families aware.
