Solidarity Fund for Ash and Kae

On 30th March 2022, six Palestine Actionists targeted the Elite KL factory in Tamworth. This factory was a subsidiary for Israel's largest arms firm Elbit Systems, and specifically produced specialist parts for Merkava tanks, which were exported and used to massacre Palestinians.

At the factory we took to the roof and dismantled it. Security were aggressive and violent, strangling one of the actionists which was streamed live on Instagram, kicking another's knee (they had to go to A&E and are still getting physio), and making up false claims that another one of the actionists assaulted security.

The actionists being charged with conspiracy to commit criminal damage, plus one of the tem with assault, and are pleading not guilty, and they will accuse Elbit of being the guilty party in court

In March 2024, due to ballooning security costs among other pressure factors from being repeatedly targeted by Palestine Action, Elite KL was forced to sell, with its new directors immediately voting to split from Elbit and stop all involvement in the arms trade. They even wrote to Pal Action to say so, to make sure they were no longer a target

Ash and Kae are now due to stand trial for their alleged part in the action. This fundraiser, in part, due to the costs associated with travel, accommodation and associated loss of earnings from the trial. We also hope to recoup costs of others supporting Ash and Kae where possible and other costs incurred by the experience.
