Cosmos Community Potluck & Creative Showcase

Every Second Sunday of the Month, 4–7 pm
 at Longmont Public Media (457 4th Ave. / Longmont, CO)

Join the local Cosmos community in Colorado for an evening of food, socializing, and creative performances by co-op members and invited guests—followed by a lightning round open mic where anyone can step up.

Bring a dish to share—or whatever else you’d like to offer. Be creative!

Scheduled performance slots between 5–15 minutes (including time for audience feedback) will be curated in advance through a group discussion—so you’ll want to join Cosmos to be included. However, anyone is welcome to participate in the open-mic segment for up to 3 minutes, no sign-up required.

Examples of what you can share:

We invite everyone to bring a dish to share—but we get it, if you don’t have the time or energy to prepare dish, you can opt to make $10+ donation, which we’ll pool to purchase food or other items needed for the event. If you are experiencing food and/or financial insecurity, you are welcome to join us for a free meal and some creative nourishment too, we hope—no questions asked.

Please note: this is a cooperatively run event, and we welcome you to play a part in the set-up clean-up, and production. Performances may be recorded and live-streamed. We will also welcome sign-ups and donations in support of the co-op, and have merch available for purchase.

If you’re co-op curious, this is a great opportunity to learn more about Cosmos and connect with fellow creatives in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
