DisCO.coop is a non profit cooperative that incubates new cooperation models and new collaborative practices for the digital age, incorporating care based cultural practices and DLT based technological tools. 

The future of work is care for each other and the planet. DisCO is a radical, broadly applicable, and fun way to create inclusive economic democracy through socially and ecologically restorative work done by communities built on trust and care. Our mission is to completely reconceptualize the future of work towards social and environmental ends, while also factoring in reproductive work, rest and leisure. 

We believe change should be led by people creating economic counterpower to directly meet human and environmental needs. Our radical mission melds concepts from the Commons, Intersectional Feminism, Open Source tech and more in an actionable, non-academic way. It’s a fun, inviting way to envision future economies not reliant on top-down techno-solutionist frameworks or neoliberal political policies. DisCO is a way for small scale solutions to federate into large scale frameworks, while taking care of the sustainability and wellbeing of those doing changemaking work.
