DONUT

Codeuino is a volunteer-driven, open-source, social networking organization that desires the potential to change the way other communities and individuals use and create open-source social-environment tools to better align with end-user expectations, giving prospectus to various other organizations, users and activists to use the social environments built within Codeuino in a custom way. 

This organization was initiated with a vision to have open sustainability within social networking and build OSS/FOSS social-environmental tools with a sole motive to benefit organizations and individuals to have a common platform for collaboration.

Donut is an open-source, feature-rich, highly flexible and privacy-friendly, social networking platform built for community-oriented collaboration in a customized way. It has been built on the Node.js framework allowing an essential impetus to provide custom and friendly rich widgets and an expansive library of modules to make communication and collaboration easy and successful. With a powerful module system, you can customize this platform by using third party tools, writing your own, or integrating other software.

It is not designed to replicate a Facebook-type network. Instead, it is best utilized by creating multiple, small interconnected groups within your communities and serving them on your hosted version of Donut.

It gives an essence, allowing users of the communities to pledge new research-oriented projects inside Donut that leaves on the community to decide and grow with specific projects. 

For users not interested in learning the back-end coding of social networking platforms, or organizations already stretched too thin, the Donut platform bypasses both of those issues.

This organization is being driven by volunteers all over the globe keeping into consideration diversity in tech and welcoming behavior for all kinds of represented groups.
