JS.ORG

Back in 2015, I had the chance to buy the domain js.org. After convincing my wife that spending money on 5 letters and a dot was a good idea, I took the chance and bought it.
Since then I'm sharing the domain with the JavaScript community by handing out subdomains. webpack.js.org is probably the best known example. But there are 3000+ other websites under the js.org domain already.

While it is a free service, some of the subdomain owners wanted to make a financial contribution.
So I first tried a PayPal-Button on the page. But after a contributor set up a yearly payment of 5€ (in 12 monthly rates) I had to reach out to him and ask him to stop the payment because there is a minimum fee of 0.5€ by PayPal (so they would literally just take everything). That is the reason I'm here.

If you want to contribute to JS.ORGs registrar fees you are welcome; if not, enjoy the service for free.

Addendum: Since the donations already exceed the registrar fees several times, I hope you find it ok that I pay other bills of JS.ORG from your financial contributions. An example would be the cost of the Privcy Policy Generator that was used for JS.ORG.
