❄️ WINTER CRISIS ❄️

As a frontline project set up in response to the pandemic, we have felt the impact of so many different crises. We expect this winter will be a perfect storm beyond all the others.

For those being moved into empty properties, fleeing DV, living homeless, seeking asylum, working but unable to 'live, or subsisting on a state pension, their capacity to fund even the most basic of essentials is effectively zero. A problem amplified this year by the increasing cost of living and the lack of state support for energy payments. 

We know we can be there for them (it's what we have been doing for the last 3 years). But our financial capacity to do so is dwindling. Our new charity status is opening up grant funding opportunities - and our Gift Aid status will (which will arrive in the coming days) give us new ways to increase our financial reserve.

For now though, we need your help to allow us to fund the purchase of all those critical items that give people the essentials for a dignified life (food, toiletries, core electricals and more). We also need your material donations to help us in those areas that we couldn't otherwise afford (unlocked/wiped smartphones & winter jackets in partcular - a full list being available on our website).
