Open Source Collective seeks someone with a deep understanding of open source sustainability and related policy, with experience working in a US-based non-profit, to become our Director of Public Policy and Programs.
This role is a mix of strategic development, management, execution, outreach, and leadership. The ideal candidate may already hold the title of VP, Director, or Senior Manager, ideally with a proven record of managing, executing, and delivering on multi-year strategic objectives with an annual budget of at least $1 million. This role best suits a candidate who prefers working as an individual contributor alongside a cross-functional team. This person will be responsible for managing and representing large stakeholder groups, forging and nurturing partnerships, and leading or influencing by example. The ideal candidate is familiar with our work, our mission, and can demonstrate our values in their own work.
This role is advertised as a full-time, remote position based within 6 hours of the EST timezone. Compensation will be between $120k-180k/year plus benefits, contingent on experience.
