A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the Fund in its first year of operation!
SE15 Community Fund has now redistributed over £21,700 to over 70 different SE15 neighbours since May 2020, and has been supported by over 118 different local people and businesses.
Whilst we would like to celebrate the anniversary of the Fund and the feeling of pride that the fund has been sustained by the local community for this long, we know that the realities for many in SE15 are nowhere near getting better.. As the furlough scheme draws to a close in the autumn and the uplift in Universal Credit payments are reversed, the economic realities of the pandemic are set to worsen. We have already seen a 25% increase in expenses in the last three months.
The community fund is stronger with each and every neighbour getting behind it so please keep telling your neighbours, friends and family in SE15 about us, whether they are in a position to financially contribute to the fund, or if they are in need of support and want to access it.
As we move into summer, there are a couple of exciting new projects the fund is involved in that will be revealed in the next few days. We would like our messages to reach more neighbours in SE15 so would you consider following us and sharing our Instagram and Twitter posts?

I highly appreciate all your great support the SE15 community fund has been giving me and my children since last year July. Life would have been very difficult without out your financial support that you give us every month. A big thank you to the organisers and the kind hearted people who put their money together to ensure others also get their life basic needs. Thank you so much and keep it up 👍👍👍👍, we cannot make it without your support
