I wanted to share an exciting update. Last July, at Drupal Camp Asheville, I shared my vision for an Inclusion Program. As of today, we have set up our first Open Collective goal of $10,000 to not only provide a paid internship, but offer up-front training, a computer, and books to help people start their career. We are holding discussions with training providers to get scholarships to offset these costs (the rest of the costs covered through the internship). Once this goal advances, we will establish criteria for applicants, timelines, and furthered details. But, the collection of funds is a key aspect of moving this forward.
