About
While we were in lockdown, our service offered a twice weekly home cooked meal takeaway and delivery service providing 100 plus meals twice weekly and offering food boxes to families in need. We also work with local restaurants through Breaking Bread and Bristol Food Union and through organisations such as Feeding Bristol, National Food Services and Fareshare to supplement our home cooked meals so we can feed even more people in need.
From the autumn of 2021, we returned to offering at The Pickle Factory, Easton, BS5:-
Mondays - STEM classes - we provide meals for children attending these classes
Wednesdays - a weekly community meal for families, singles and friends - offering a three course meal using supermarket and farm food which would otherwise end up in landfill
Thursdays - Baggabites offering local children meals and activities.
As always we thank all our generous supporter who donate food including Neighbourly, The Matthew Tree Project, Sweetmart, Marks & Spencers, Aldi and Lidl.
