About

The Rights Collective is a volunteer-led radical South Asian collective creating space for resistance, solidarity and transformation. We are an intergenerational group of people from different regional, class and religious backgrounds. We seek to address and challenge the ongoing and enduring impact of unjust power hierarchies that perpetuate harm within marginalised South Asian diaspora, while practicing being in community together. We create inclusive spaces for resistance, solidarity and transformation towards collective liberation for our communities, in all its differences and hope to build a world that is founded on principles of equity, justice, collective leadership, and accountability.
