About
Volcano Vibe Collective was started in May 2019 by a group of four local women in Raetihi, Southern Ruapehu, New Zealand. We have an exciting store showcasing local art, crafts and products as well as eco-friendly essentials and pre-loved items.
We run creative and wellbeing workshops and weekly classes as well as facilitating groups for singing, painting, photography, clay club and gardening.
At present our store represents 76 local artists/ creators and we are still growing! Therefore we are expanding. The Volcano Community Art Studio is a not-for profit space (next door) where we will run our workshops and programs, as well as it being a studio for local artists to use and exhibit their work.
This is becoming a community asset and attraction, adding life to the main street of Raetihi, which we hope to open by April 2023.
