On the 24th July 2024, we held our first ever event.

So many people came to join us at the New Earswick Folk Hall for good food, brilliant conversation and to listen to some really interesting speakers. There were stalls and activities stationed around the room to encourage people to move around and get involved, and we were thrilled with the amount of mingling that took place!

A massive thanks goes out to:
-  inspiring activists Abi Perrin and Fawzia Ehsani for sharing their work and experiences
- Yahala Mataam for providing our delicious lunch
- Henry Raby of Saw Owt fame for his anarchic, passionate and fun performance poetry
- Jon Dorsett for getting us talking about designing spaces for participative processes

We're looking forward to doing it all again next year!
